Watching television WITHOUT a dish antenna, NOT attached to a cable provider, is now possible with a 'DIGITENNA' !

A DVB-T (digital) tuner/decoder with a tiny (indoor) antenna, will do to get the signals from the air on to your (old) tv-set. Even at locations, without any sufficient televison reception possibilities so far. (exeptions in certain circumstances are possible) Now also flatscreen TV sets available with build-in digital DVB-T tuner. At least 26 digital television channels and 19 digital radio stations are available this way. Including the most popular Dutch TV & radio stations. All these TV channels have many english spoken original soundtrack movies, shows, documentaries and series. (with dutch subtitles).

DIGITENNE RADIO & TV DECODERS With a Single Tuner decoder/reciever you can watch tv or listen radio, but you cannot simultaniously record another programme. (Off course this is possible with two Single Tuner DVB-T recievers) With a Twin Tuner decoder/reciever you can watch tv or listen radio, and you can simultaniously record another programme with a stand-alone VHS, DVD or Hard Disc videorecorder. With a Personal Recorder decoder/reciever you can watch tv or listen radio, and you can simultaniously record two other programmes on hard disk (80 or 160 GB), up to 100 hours Many new possibilities, like pauzing live programming and continue to watch whenever it suits you, or repeat a scene immediately The public tv channels are Free-To-Air (unscrambled) on DVB-T in the whole of the Netherlands. The reception coverage of other channels in the whole country via KPN Digitenne is under development. Taxi customers on the way to the airport can watch the latest news on CNN and BBC World. INTERNET: With Digitenne it is not possible to connect to the internet. We advise to combine Digitenne with an ADSL connection via telephoneline. For remote locations we advise internet via satellite.

Digitenne reception installation in 5 simple steps: 1. Find a suitable spot to position the little antenna (indoors preferably near windows and as high as possiblebinnenshuis bij voorkeur) Connect the antenna to the decoder-receiver. 2. Connect the reciever to your tv set or VHS / DVD ? HD recorder with SCART or RF coax cable. 3. Switch on the reciever and search for channels automatically via the menu. ( see the reciever manual) If reception is good, you can immediately recieve Nederland 2 and Radio 1 without a smartcard. (these channels are not encrypted ) 4. For activating your Digitenne by KPN subcription: call toll-free 0800-0576 Enter your smartcard number and follow instructions 5. Enter the smartcard in the decoder-reciever.
